Design Automation Solutions, Inc. (DASI) headquartered in Austin, Texas represents Electronic Design Automation (EDA) companies with leading edge technologies that enable designers to create innovative new products.  Innovative and challenging semiconductor designs require breakthrough technology to meet the design and verification challenges presented by higher performance goals, low power requirements, and smaller process geometries.

In the semiconductor industry, advances in manufacturing happen very fast to keep up with consumer demands within the various electronics markets. Approximately every 18 months a new technology process is introduced in the semiconductor industry that scales down the feature sizes associated with a semiconductor device. Each time a new technology process is introduced, a number of new design challenges emerge. In order to keep pace with these new challenges,  EDA software tools being used by a design engineer must improve rapidly. In the EDA industry the innovation to meet these new challenges comes from smaller startup companies. Startups have the ability to focus on next generation, leading edge issues while leaving the more mature EDA companies to focus on mainstream processes. DASI's focus is to find these startups with key technology and bring them to the attention of companies that require leading edge design tools to bring products to market with a competitive edge. 

Our solutions portfolio consists of technologies that range from system level design and verification through GDSII optimization.  In addition for 2007 we are augmenting our offerings with services in the system level and implementation space along with FPGA verification tools. DASI's founders have wide ranging industry experience which include: engineering, sales, support, and management positions for some of the most respected companies in the business: Texas Instruments,  Hewlett-Packard, Computervision, Sunrise Test Systems, Simulation Technologies (Summit, Innoveda), Synopsys, and Circuit Semantics. Our combined experience of over 40 years in EDA has prepared us to work with your company's design engineering staff in an honest and professional manner to accomplish mutually defined goals that can be delivered through the use of these leading edge technologies.
